Instant Baby Machine (1930)

This scene from the 1930 film Just Imagine shows how babies will be made in the futuristic world of 1980. The clip directly follows the scene we looked at a few months back about meal pills.

Thanks again to Amy Macnamara for this paleo-futuristic classic that hasn't yet been released on VHS or DVD.

Richard, FeedMesh works wonderfully. Every day, the existing FeedMesh publishers are publishing millions of update notifications which are being read by many services. But, it is very important to understand that FeedMesh doesn't eliminate the need for pinging. What FeedMesh does is provide a means for those who get pinged (or ...

It was an illegal act to vandalize the vending machine, but I cannot help but sympathize with the criminal. I do not see the global trend towards installing surveillance cameras in every public place as a good thing. It’ s possible that such cameras could help the police find and fight ...

The general concept of being able to infer feature information on dumb models has been around for a while. Trispectives (now IronCAD) was one of the first to do this, at a basic level, in 1995 or so. More recently, Kubotek, CoCreate and SpaceClaim have taken the concept (and technology) further, ...

I've seen the film. The idea was interesting but the execution was utterly inept and boring.

And it is hard to say why. The cast was capable. But somewhere in production it became a disaster.

Get drunk before viewing. So drunk you will remember nothing in the morning.

They were mistakenly looking forward to the "Blues Brothers" movie, which came out in 1980. It's just a little off, but no less creepy.

[to man in restaurant]
Jake: [fakes accent] How much for the little girl? How much for the women?
Father: What?
Jake: Your women. I want to buy your women. The little girl, your daughters... sell them to me. Sell me your children.

I don't know what's more disturbing... the fact that babies came out of a vending machine (for the rock-bottom price of what, 25 cents?) or the fact that somewhere behind the machine would be women popping them out in mass production. Yikes. Talk about child labor!

Yeah, it's way better if you're good and pissed up first. Otherwise You'll want to put a steak knife in your cock.

Wow what a neat idea. Now do you think you can bring it back if its not quite what your looking for? What happens if your coin gets stuck or you shake the machine?
